PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE

At CHCinc., we must always look toward the future. 

There are many challenges as well opportunities ahead for us. The individuals who come to CHC everyday want us to expand into new areas and to offer interesting and exciting activities for them to discover and learn.

It is imperative that we increase our Supported Employment program so we can offer individuals the choice of working in the community. 

At the same time we need to add new activities to our Adult Day Training program.  We want to always offer choices of high-quality, meaningful activities.

In order to meet the choices made by our individuals we need to make changes in the physical buildings on campus.

The current Administration Building is over forty years old and needs major remodeling.  The remodeling will include the installation of ADA restroom facilities and improved staff offices that will include space for our growing Supported Employment program. 

We are planing a second Education Classroon facility that will house three of our existing work areas.

• one classroom will be used for our  expanding Music Therapy program
• a second classroon will be used for our Heath and Sports & Fitness programs 
• the third classroom will be used for our Tranistions program
• a fourth cassroom will be used for future expansion

CHCinc. is dedicated to the development of these new facilities.  We are currently working with an Architect who is completing the drawings.  The Board of Trustees has started a building fund to begin to collect the funds that will be needed for this project.  Our first estimates are for $450,000.
