MUSIC THERAPY
Individuals work on appropriate social skills including proper eye contact, language, team work, and self-expression in Music Therapy.
They work to increase their expression/receptive communication skills by learning to follow directions, making choices, expressing needs, and listening to others.
Individuals also work on improving both fine and gross motor skills using music, movement, and playing instruments.
They work on increasing their emotional awareness by participating in music experiences that address different emotions.
